The Brisbane boutique publishing house Ibis was formed in 1999 by Janelle Evans. The company actively publishes and promotes Australian writing in particular the works of local authors.

To date Ibis has published 2 novels by eminent Brisbane QC Cedric Hampson as well as his collection of short stories, Sicilian Vespers. The 2nd Edition of Brig George Mansford's military novel The Mad Galahs will be launched on 12th April, 2001.
