Willys Lakester

The lakester was built using a 1938 Willys engine and gearbox. A Jeep crank, twin stromberg carbs, and a high altitude head pushed it to speeds in excess of 100 MPH. The car is rumoured to be returning in 2001 with an extended body, and a more laid back driving position. The car had an unusual sound, similar to a Tiger Moth bi-plane, probably a similar turn of speed as well.
