Welcome. Our main areas of genealogical research are associated with the surnames listed at the left. Each link leads to a descendant report and index of names for one of our forebears. Each descendant report begins with a forebear originating in either Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England or France, who either emigrated to Australia in the nineteenth century, or had at least one descendant who did so.

Some historical data obtained either from civil records, or from diary extracts, letters or newspapers, has been included in the pages for a number of families.

A selection of photographs for some families provide links to associated people or places listed in the reports.

A complete list of all surnames on the site is provided to assist you to assess whether your research interests coincide with ours.
