1: William Lewis1 baptised 02 Dec 1809 at Llanafan Fawr, Wales; died 15 Nov 1876 at Jamberoo, NSW; buried 17 Nov 1876 at Jamberoo, NSW. Transported: 30 Sep 1829. .
Tried and sentenced with his brother Rees for sheep stealing 18 Apr 1829, he was sentenced to transportation for life. He arrived in Port Jackson 30 Mar 1830. William received a Ticket of Leave in 1838 and a conditional pardon in 1846. He farmed at Stoney Creek, Jamberoo until his death.

2: William Lewis2 (William1) born 25 Dec 1865 at Jamberoo, NSW; married Jane Patton Hoy 19 Sep 1893 at Kiama, NSW; died 18 Sep 1937 at Brisbane.
At the time of his marriage, William was working as a bacon manufacturer for Hicks Bros, at Shellharbour. The family moved to the new Hicks Bros factory at Lismore about 1898. About 1910, the family purchased and moved to a dairy farm in Maleny, Queensland. They worked the farm until about 1913 when it was leased and the family moved back to Lismore where William became the bacon factory manager. They remained in Lismore until late 1914 or early 1915 when William retired to Sandgate.
In 1916, William, Jane and the three youngest children were living in Mapleton, Queensland where William had bought a farm. This farm was sold and William retired again in 1919. The family moved once more to Lismore.

Arthur entered camp 18 Sep 1915 after enlistment as Private, Number 4167, 10 Reinforcements, 25th Bn, 7 Infantary Brigade, AIF. He left Australia in the "Commonwealth " A73, March 28 1916 as part of the 10th reinforcements. He is buried in Warlencourt cemetery, France. The Butte of Warlencourt was associated with terrible fighting around Fleurs and Le Sars in the autumn of 1916.
Col, No.4224 was a member of the 9th Bn, he enlisted 12 Aug 1915, entered camp Sep 2 of the same year and embarked on HMAT A55 " Kyarra " on 3 Jan, 1916 as part of the 13th reinforcements. He returned to Aust 8 Nov 1918, gassed and with a bullet in the lung which led to his death in 1926.
3: Catherine Spinks2 (William1) born 13 Nov 1869 at Jamberoo, NSW; married Henry Humphries 02 Apr 1897 at Redfern, Sydney; died 18 Jul 1941.

This is the last will and testament of me Gertrude Catherine Humphries of Winsome Avenue Balgowlah, Manly in the
State of New South Wales made the thirtieth day of August in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and
thirty one. I revoke all other wills made by me I appoint SYDNEY HUMPHRIES to be my Executor and direct that my
funeral and testamentary expenses and all my debts shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I
give unto my Son Sydney Humphries my heir Executor and adviser for his own use and benefit absolutely and forever
all my Estate and effects both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and quality soever
and I hereby appoint him the said SYDNEY HUMPHRIES Sole Executor of this my Will in witness whereof I have here
upon set my hand this Thirtieth day of August One Thousand Nine Hundred and thirty one. In witness where-of I the
