Please note that the above times and costs are estimations only based upon average time taken per student, in a Melbourne Microlights owned and operated trike (flight training cost approx., $150 per hour).

Alternately, for students purchasing a trike from Melbourne Microlights, flight training costs are approximately half those shown above (flight training cost $100 per hour plus free theory tuition).

Completion of Pilots Certificate requires a minimum of 20 hrs flight time, including 5 hours solo flying.
