The Story: Jomal Glen Everest is a bull of impeccable breeding and
extremely desirable phenotype. Out of the high profile
Mt View Wallflower L46
, who also produced: Jomal Glen Wallflower W5 – Very powerful young donor female whose first calves are nothing short of impressive. She is the Dam of Jomal Glen Bolsenbroek Jomal Glen Uma U11 – Our pocket rocket donor female she is a prepotent breeder having given us 3 terrific embryo daughters in Jomal Glen Maxine, Jomal Glen Nora and Jomal Glen Duchess. Robern Wallflower S40 – Junior and Grand Champion Female 1999 National Show and Sale Robern Taurus – Junior Champion Bull 1999 Adelaide Royal Show, Senior Champion Bull 2000 National Show and Sale where he was the top priced bull selling for $8,250 Robern Rocket Man – Weighed 671kg @ 15 months and won Junior Champion Bull at the Murray Grey Feature at Devonport 1997 Everest is a son of the 2003 Perth Royal Show Grand Champion Bull in Jomal Glen White Knight (who himself is a son of the Perth Royal Show Senior Champion Female 2001 Jomal Glen Senorita ). It is very rare for a bull to have two great cows as his closest maternal influence. It is clear that these two great cows combine well in a pedigree as it has produced another very promising young bull in Jomal Glen Bolsenbroek who is a name to look out for on this website in the future. Such a well balanced bull that’s long necked and smooth shouldered, Everest has terrific length of body, bone and muscling as well. He has shown a rare ability to put on high daily weight gains over lengthy periods of time. For the 56 days prior to the 2004 Perth Royal Show he put on 134kg @ 2.393kg/day (5.264lb/day). Then in the 144 days after he was taken out from the cows he put on 262kg @ 1.82kg/day (4.003lb/day). Beautifully natured and with the rest of his life ahead of him, we’re very excited about the potential this bull exhibits. First calves are due in July. With Mt View Wallflower L46 recently passing away, there is a sense that, arguably, she saved her very best until last! |
