Wildlife Artist, Janet Flinn, paints the color and character of the Australian birds that visit her garden and nearby bushland in Glen Waverley, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. (Read more about Janet)

The bird and animal paintings featured here include Parrots, Cockatoos, Fairy-wrens, Robins, Raptors and Owls; also Kangaroos and other Australian marsupials.

While researching subjects for her paintings Janet enjoys 'birding' in many parts of Australia & the South Pacific.

Share her birding experiences in 'Trip Reports'.

Janet gives presentations to community groups on her research trips and conducts sketching workshops. In May 2008 she will again conduct sketching classes at Fraser Island.
