Bird Art - Peregrine Falcon

SOLD

This Peregrine Falcon picture is a pastel drawing.

Size: 48cm H x 32cm W

Peregrine Falcons pair for life.
They do not build a nest; the female lays the eggs on a sheltered
recess in a cliff, in hollows of trees or aboandoned nests.
While the female does incubating duties, the male will feed her.
Later both share the hunting, often co-operatively,
to supply food for their ravaenous chicks.
