Breeding From The Best Working KNPV Dutch Shepherd Bloodlines

About Us

We are a small kennel located in Australia with the aim of producing the best possible working Dutch Shepherds. We are the original importers of the Dutch Shepherd Dog into Australia. Since we made the decision to import this breed into Australia, other breeders have decided to follow our lead. Already now there are Dutch Shepherds from different lines in Australia. 

We have imported our bloodlines from the un-registered KNPV Dutch Shepherds and not the FCI pedigreed ones, as these are by far the strongest working ones. These KNPV Dutch Shepherds dogs, are known throughout the world as being some of the best dogs for police/military and competition work. 

Dutch Shepherds are renowned for their extreme drives, strong aggression and will to work. It is our goal to continue breeding Dutch Shepherds with these same character traits. The Dutch Shepherds are also known for good health and longevity. Due to these qualities, the Dutch Shepherd is in great demand around the world as a police and service dog. 

We will not breed to, nor import, any FCI pedigreed Dutch Shepherds as these animals are inferior working dogs compared to the KNPV Dutch Shepherd. So we encourage people who are interested in this breed to research the dogs and decide what they want the dog for, and then go to the dogs that offer that.

We have made the decision to register our dogs with the N.V.B.K. (Nationaal Verbond der Belgische Kynologen) registry in Belgium. The NVBK is a working dog registry that also controls one of the major Belgium Ring organisations. The dogs that have come from the NVBK ring program (Malinois) are considered by many to be some of the premier working dogs in the world. They have also had a massive influence on all working Malinois. This includes the KNPV bloodlines as well as the French and IPO bloodlines. Many quality Malinois were added to the FCI gene pool and if these dogs were not, then the Malinois would not be as a we know it to be.

We will also look at training our Dutch Shepherds in the NVBK Belgium Ring program. Having looked at all the programs available the NVBK Belg Ring program is the most suitable. We will also promote the NVBK as they are a true working dog organisation as well being the only working dog pedigree registry in the world.
