Marko is the highest credentialed German Shepherd to ever enter Australia. He has ZM, SchH3, IPO3, ZVV3, FH1 and was twice on the Czech Nationals, all by the age of 4 years. Marko is from the famous Czech kennel "Blatenskeho zamku", known for producing some of the great working dogs in Czech.
Marko is one of the greatest sons of the legendry Czech dog and producer Grim z Pohranicni Straze CS ZM, SchH3, IPO3, ZVV3, ZPS1, FH1.
Marko is a highly driven dog that has a strong character on and off the field. He will take a correction but if he is pushed, he will push you back. He is not for the inexperienced handler.
Marko is a very large dog and he causes problems for helpers with his size and fight. He has taken a number of them to the ground in Australia.
Marko has been worked by Bernhard Flinks and Alex Bayer, both of whom had the highest praise for his genetic strength and working abilities. He has proved himself on the competition field here in Australia where he is the most successful trial dog ever. He was trialled on four occasions where he placed 3 times first and one second (2003 Nationals). All of these trials were done under international judges. Congratulations must also go to his handler Aldo Maugeri. While others talked about how good they and their dogs were Aldo went to trial field where he beat them or they failed to show.
Marko pups have also been exported to Germany where they are showing very high potential.
Marko is owned by Shutzshep kennels in Sydney.
