Kaye Kessing lives and works in Alice Springs as an environmental painter
and illustrator. She also writes,
performs and creates puppets, costumes and sets. Coming to work as
an art/craft teacher
in Central Australia in the early 1970's she fell in love with the Australian desert. Since
leaving teaching in 1975 she has created works which describe the desert
and interpret environmental
issues in Australia. Major productions have been :
