I spent yesterday afternoon surfing the net (looking at discussions on babies and pregnancy mostly), knitting, listening and dancing to music and generally having a very pleasant afternoon.

I was listening to Rachel Gaudry's CD, Leaving Traces, which I really like (could be a few people getting it for Christmas this year). She has this song, 'Sunshine in my pocket' which seemed fitting. Some of the particular lyrics that stuck a chord:

Got a little bit of sunshine in my pocket today
Takes a little more than thunder to chase it away...

Got a little bit of hopscotch in my step today
And the crowds on the street can't lead me astray...

There's a multicoloured rainbow in my eye today
I don't even know how it got there but it rained yesterday...
