John Kowarsky & Associates is a Melbourne-based environmental science consultancy established in 1994.
We have established a diverse clientele that includes Commonwealth, State and Municipal Government, Statutory Authorities, engineers, town planners and private companies.
Our services include representing proponents for developments as well as providing advice to environmental regulators.

John Kowarsky is a professional scientist with experience in marine and aquaculture research, tertiary lecturing, environmental impact assessment and management, natural resource management, and environmental regulation.
Our Services
We can assist you with:
- Coordinating multidisciplinary environmental investigations and undertaking environmental impact assessments
- Designing and undertaking pre-dredging investigations
- Preparing submissions for works approvals, consents under the Coastal Management Act, applications for Sea Dumping Permits under the Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act, and referrals under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act
- Interpreting environmental regulations and policies.
