I purchased an IS28M2 motor glider from Colac, Victoria, Australia on 8th Dec 2006. Some 22 hours of flying from my home at Atherton. I flew it up to Atherton and have had it stored with the wings off in the back of a friends hanger for 6 months, now the weather is better I have put the wings on and it is now tied down outside so I can get in some flying :-)

The IS28M2 is powered by a Limbach VW with a certified Aeropower conversion. It is rated at 76hp and is running dual ignition with the primary being a Slick Magneto and the secondary being a Bosch electronic ignition. The Propellor is a Hoffman in flight 3 position adjustable, fine, course and fully feathered. It cruises at 80kts and only carries 40 litres of fuel (plus a further 28 litres in the passenger seat ferry tank).
