INFANT BAPTISM - Christian parents (assisted by Christian sponsors) present their children for Baptism, with the promise that they will teach the Word of God to the children as they grow. In their early teens children are given the basic truths of the Christian faith, and through pre-commmunion instruction or the Rite of Confirmation, participate in the Holy Communion.
ADULT BAPTISM - Persons of responsible age who have never been baptised are received by Baptism into full membership after a period of instruction in the Christian faith and on personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ.
CONFIRMATION - Adults previously baptised in any Christian church are received by the Rite of Confirmation into full membership after a period of instruction in the Christian faith and on personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ.
RE-AFFIRMATION OF FAITH - Lutherans, whose membership in the Church has become inactive, are warmly welcomed back and re-admitted to the full fellowship and ministry of the Church after satisfactory indications of their knowledge and acceptance of the Christian faith and on personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ.
