Sadly, I must announce the death of Sybil, Lady Stewart of Appin - our Patron.

And Alastair Livingstone , Baron of Bachuil. Chief of the Livingston/MacLea Clans

I have just heard of the passing of Lady Stewart of Appin, widow of Sir Dugald Stewart, 16th of Appin and mother of the current chief Andrew Stewart, 17th of Appin. Lady Stewart was a great character and vociferous in her support of her husband’s clan.  She will be a great loss to the community. On behalf of all that use this forum, I shall write expressing our sadness and condolences to Andrew and the family. Resquiescat in Pacem
