My Home Page is intended to provide visitors to this site with some information about the Livingston family in Tasmania, Australia, how we got here, where we came from, how many of us there are, etc.

Mostly, I would like to cover my family’s history and as information is gathered to hand, it will be placed in pages attached to this page. Currently, it is update time as these records were assembled in the mid 1980's and some generations have passed. If you have updated information about your family I would appreciate you advising me via my email address below.

The Badge show here is the one belonging to the Clan Livingstone group of people from the Scottish Highlands and can be displayed by any person claiming to be from the Scottish Highland Clan of Livingstone.

The Coat of Arms shown here refers to the Livingstones of Bachuil. It is only to be used by the Barron of Bachuil and his immediate family.

The best information I have to date is that the ancestor of Dr. David Livingstone and my own ancestors are not part of the same family, but parentage of both has yet to be proven, as many record have been lost over a period of time especially around the 1740s ie at the Battle of Culloden.
