MILNER BAY WHARF

The wharf provides loading facilities for the ore ships which come to collect manganese.  Both the images on this page show a typical wet-season sky.  Many of these clouds will provide showers during the day.

The first image shows the traffic access on the left and the ore conveyor on the right.

Below is the ship loading apparatus.  With easy access to the public and the shelter provided to marine life, the wharf is a popular fishing spot for Alyangula's residents.
