FICUS

For me nothing is complete without the inclusion of our trained attack cat.  Here in a favourite spot next to the amplifier, Feral Fickle Feline Ficus does what cats do best - she sleeps!

Ficus came from a litter found at the township's plant nursery and needed to be called something botanical.  One of the largest trees next to the nursery is from the ficus genus.

Because of the potential to damage wildlife, it is no longer possible to bring cats onto the island.  Aware of how lucky we are, we limit her impact by ensuring she is locked inside at night.
