ORBITUARY: "It is with exceeding regret that we notice the demise of a well-known and highl y esteemed citizen of Newcastle, Mr Henry Edwards, sen., father of Mr George T Edwards, the popular auctioneer of this city, and of Messrs. Henry, William, and Alfred Edwards of th e G N Railway Department. Mr Edwards had been ailing for some three of four weeks, having been taken ill at the Hanging Rock goldfields, Nundle, and finally passed away peacefully in the bosom of his family at Wickham, yesterday morning. The last sad rites in connection with his decease will take place this afternoon.
