Civilization is a very successful gaming series which began in 1991 with Sid Meier's Civilization. Other titles have followed including Civnet, Colonization, Civilization: Call to Power, Civilization: Call to Power 2, Civilization: Test of Time, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Sid Meier's Civilization 2, and Sid Meier's Civilization 3 (these games are not in order of release).
