As of late July this year, Mark discharged from the Australian Army which meant that we could finally leave Darwin after four years of isolation and tropical build-ups.  We decided on Brisbane, Queensland as our new home and quickly drove the 3000 km from Darwin.

Danien & Rhys have quickly settled into their new school and Vaughan will join up with them next year when he graduates from preschool to grade 1.  Felicity completed her final assignment for her degree in ‘Library and Information Management’ upon arrival in Brisbane by a work placement with a prominent law firm in the city, and soon after obtained employment with a local  university.  Mark is working for an ‘air science’ company as well as full-time home duties until all the boys are at school next year.

On Christmas holiday 2004/05, Parliament House, Canberra, ACT.
