Coochie is serviced by both a vehicular barge (12 trips a day from 8.00 AM to 4 .00 PM, 15 minute journey) and a passenger ferry (every half hour from 5.00 AM to 11.30 PM, 4 minute journey). Both depart from the Victoria Point jetty at the end of Colburne Avenue.

Victoria Point is about a 40 minute drive South-East from the Brisbane CBD, just 5 minutes from Cleveland. Bus and train connections are also available.National bus line links with the ferry for a local and Metropolitan service.
