The obvious scandal in water polo was the political problems concerning the Hungary v USSR final at the Melbourne Olympics (1956). The politics! the brutality ! More soon.

There have been some minor, and not so minor drug related problems. Recently the Brazil team had a problem in this area, I think.

I won't even start on the current IOC bribery scandal !
