John Nutter wins the Wyong Shire Cup for the 3rd time

 

The players receive their prizes from Mal Murrell (in the maroon shirt) Mingara Chess Club president. 1. Branko Santrac equal second. 2.Garry Losh equal second. 3.Tony Eves 1st in Division One.  4. Joe Keaveney 2nd Division One.  5. Keith Farrell 3rd Division One. 6.Barry Shearwood 1st Division Two. 7. Barry Maddy equal 2nd Division Two 8. Bill Hoseman equal 2nd Division Two.

Congratulations to John Nutter  for winning the Wyong Shire Cup with a perfect score. Branko looked set to take out second place on his own, but a loss to Gary meant that second place was shared by Gary and Branko. Division 1 was won by Tony Eves with Joe Keaveney second and Keith Farrell third. Division 2 was won by Barry Shearwood with Bill Hoseman and Barry Maddy sharing second. Well done to all the prize winners.
