Dainty Green Tree Frog (Litoria gracilenta)

Status : Common
For many years, many have considered this species as one of the most attractive of the green tree frogs. A pale leaf green
on it’s dorsal surface with a straw to pale yellow underside and orange irises. Found throughout northern N.S.W. and QLD on floating
vegetation or reeds in swamps and streams, but is equally as common in disturbed areas such as banana plantations.
Call: A long drawn out "waaaaaa" only heard in rainy periods.
