Huayna Potosi (6088m), Bolivia
Joanna, who accompanied me on this climb took these pictures, thanks Joanna. I did reach a point in the climb where I was ready to turn back (Yes, I did have a fear of heights) and it was Joanna that kicked my butt and encouraged me to go on.... I will always remember her for encouraging me to walk (crawl) the last 50 metres! Thank you Joanna, it was definitely worth it!

The "remains" of other expeditions, a cementary on the way to base camp.

The old refugio, no we didn't have to stay here.

Myself and Joanna at the old refugio

I understand, a few rocks and a bit of ice, not a prob mate!

View from the "cafeteria", this was the lunch break on day one. Some people were camping here.

It's not going to get much worse that this is it?

Yes, I'm loving this! NOT!

The five star acampamento Argentino. Fully Air-conditioned! At -18 degrees Celcius. No mosquitoes though! This was our night stop, and it did get cold and a little windy. not to mention it was not a good idea to walk away from the camp, incase you fell into a cravese. Nice, I like it!

Myself at base camp and useless (as usual), I was stuffed!

Myself near the summit, there's nothing wrong with being the back guard! I admit, it wasn't until I got back home that I realised what being an anchor really meant, thank god everyone elseknew what they were doing.

Our fearless leader, doing the bolivian shuffle at 6000+m asl!

Very close to the summit and obviously enjoying it!
