This car was the first acquisition of my second Riley phase.
I bought it in the early 1970s as a "basket case".
At the time I acquired it I had lost touch entirely with the Riley marque and the restoration which I undertook then was not what I would do today. There are many unoriginal items on the car and maybe one day I'll look at these.
In the meantime "Nellie" has taken Lyn and I many, many miles over the past 30 years.
With an Australian made body, she is one of two with this exact body in Australia.
