Lyn and I purchased this car in England in 1982 and brought it to Australia. At the time it was very run down with a great many of its original fittings missing. I have managed to source the correct instruments and wheels which were two of the major items and have carried out a complete restoration of the car.
It is one of the very few Imps anywhere to still have the seat in its original position, most having been set back to gain more cockpit room.
Despite the tight fit we use the car extensively, even for holidays with a luggage rack bolted on to the spare wheel.
