Israelite Bay
Israelite Bay Telegraph Station  Old Isrealite Bay Jetty

Israelite Bay was once the port servicing the Overland Telegraph Station and the personnel who were employed in keeping the office running. Built circa 1870 the old building is in fairly good shape except it is without the roof which was salvaged many years ago for buildings in Norseman.
The jetty was used to load cargo for both the Telegraph Station and for stores for the inland stations north of Israelite Bay. Wool was brought down by camels, donkeys or horses to be loaded from the jetty to be transported overseas on sailing ships and later steamers.
