The wildflowers of the Esperance Sandplain are world renowned in their diversity and at any time of the year can be seen flowering, although at their best in the months of September to November. Banksias, Orchids, Dryandras, Kangaroo Paws, Grevilleas and Hakeas just to mention a few. There are some wildflowers unique to the Alexander Bay area which are well worth seeing.
