The 54 glass panels in the gallery area all around
the Church would be replaced with new stained glass
designs representing God's work of creation. The windows
above the door depict the making of day and night, and
as we look at the designs coming from each side, the
sky appears and images of tempestuous storms portray
the creation of earth and water. Moving further around
towards the Altar plants, tree, fruit, the fowls of
the sky and the fishes of the seas are created. On one
side the sun and on the other the moon and stars. We
then come to the creatures of the earth with man being
created close to the Altar. The panels behind the Altar
are a reference to the Passion with the red of the Passion
being mixed with the light from heaven, because in the
end God gave himself to us.
