Ivanhoe Swap n Sell Day Report 2003

    Held on 22 March 2003.
This was a Swap Day organised to run from 1:00pm to 5:00pm by the Melbourne Antique Bottle Club Inc. In place of their monthly meeting.
It was held in a new hall as the club has just moved from their old Deepdean address to the Uniting Church Hall in Seddon St, Ivanhoe. There was a good turn out by the club members with around 20, 10 foot tables, of trading.
Most traders reported good sales and I was amazed at the number of general public that came through the hall, as it is right in the shopping hub of Ivanhoe.
It was a great day and having the late starting time left time for the collectors to hit the garage sales in the morning and still get to the swap meet early. I found a nice ½ pint cross Mason jar and a few other interesting bottles to take home.
It was well worth the trip and you should go along to the next on later in the year.

Sorry I forgot the Camera at this Swap Day, -- Doh! Chris
