The Journey of the monad is the history and evolution of the Human Individual. All life has as its innermost core that which is a divine spark of pure consciousness ,which is essentially part of THE MONAD which is the Source of All Things.From the beginning of time at the diaspora of the monads, all life commences the long journey back to the Source after what, to us, appears an interminable succession of different cycles in stages of development, but which can be defined as the types of existence asociated. There are three easily classed phases: the Mineral, the Vegetable, and the Animal, usually referred to as The Three Lower Kingdoms. All monads take life through these three stages before they can accede the Human.This takes an unimaginable long time, and for all we can know may well require more than one eternity ( complete cycle of Mainfestation / Dissolution).Following the animal phase there is another very long period during which the prehistoric root races gradually develop a more material envelope culminating in something approaching present appearance. The early forms were nigh on formless in vehicles of pure energy ovoid and reproducing themselves by budding off a replica of themeselves. They were therefore" male and female "as stated in the Book of Genesis, the separation into sexes coming later, as in the text. During this downward path of ever increasing materialisation there is the idea of increasing "separateness", so that the eventual gift of Mind and Freewill saw the ultimate stage of Individuality and Group Consciousness left behind, forever?.But "Forever "is a very long time and does not apply in practical metaphysics. There is no such expression in Hebrew, only a "very long time", and so there is to follow that upward cycle on the wheel representing the manifest, as all monads prepare for their return home bearing their lifestreams into ever increasing levels of Group Consciousness  yet each unit retaining its sense of individuality . This turn of the wheel pivots on the human phase, and is therefore the Fourth Kingdom and is integral to the Cosmic Plan, the higher levels of which we are made only partially aware, and only then by the grace of some who have preceded us on the way,  the more distant stages only incompletely understood by the Adepts as it leads to that level of abstraction which preceded the Creation Itself. In this way is the Law of Synthesis is fulfilled, as a subsidiary feature of The Law of Karma.
