Our 18 years of combined experience in tissue culture and biotechnology research and development, together with first class facilities and technical skills gives our customers access to services and advice in a complex technical area.
LABORATORY FACILITIES
Our laboratory was built to Australian Standard in 1993. It has a GMAC (Genetic Manipulation Advisory Committee) PC2 rating, and is licensed to perform quarantine. The clean room is air conditioned, HEPA filtered and self contained.
The laboratory has 6 laminar flow workstations, including a biological safety cabinet for work with genetically modified organisms.
The environmentally controlled growth room has 57m2 of shelf space. Light intensity is controlled via dimmable high-frequency fluorescent lights. The growth room can also be partitioned into zones of different daylength.
