Japanese Clivia from Mr. Yoshikazu Nakamura,

Clivia Breeding Plantation, Japan

Above, the beautiful and interesting types Mr. Nakamura has produced. The variegates oranges and  split flowers colours are well worth growing for their obvious centrepiece value!

Right, this is a new and very desirable type of Clivia currently sweeping the globe. This type is named Clivia miniata 'Akebono'. Clivia is now banded! Amazing! Of course there are many types appearing of this exquisite Clivia and some of the form are extraordinary!

Below, an beautiful example of a Japanese Clivia miniata variegate. The Japanese have called this type 'Fukurin'.  I have had the very good pleasure and luck to acquire seeds from the parent of this quality and these will be available in late 2002.
