I found the idea of putting value of theological concepts over simple moral values to be confusing and irrational. I mean, why should I not associate with someone that was otherwise a good person simply because he did'nt believe in crucifixions and ressurrections? What do these things mean anyway? Also I found the "prophecies" of the bible to work only if you followed a pre-determined interpretation of the text. Basically, I found apologists to be spin doctors.
