I remember at the age of four (yes, very young) thinking "God loves everyone, but would force a 1-year old Buddhist child to burn in Hell without the chance to know Jesus, or to committ a real sin". Right then and there I decided that I didn't believe in Satan or Hell, and that God would find a way to punish the truly wicked, such as murderers and hate-mongers. Later, at age ten, I was horrified by the very idea of Witch Burnings and Inquisitions ... all of this evil in the name of God? The Christian Coalition tries to push "The Chronicles of Narnia" (Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe series) ... but what they had taught me was "That its not important what name you invoke ... all good deeds are done for good, all evil deeds are done for evil. If you invoke (Jesus) for an evil deed, you are really invoking (Satan).

From grade school I began a spiritual quest. I fell in love with Athena, but felt that old guilt for leaving Christianity. As a teen and an adult, the world began to open up to me. I have studied the philosophies of Deism, Unitarianism, and studied Paganism and Cabbala. When I read the Dead-Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hamaddi scriptures, my eyes opened up finally ... Jesus did believe in the Goddess of Wisdom ... he called her Sophia. I also learned recently that the Hebrews invoke her every Friday Night as the Sabbath Bride.

Still, by and by, Biblical/Evangelical/born again Christians are clearly going against Christ's words with half of what they do and say. CBN is the worst ... they pray in public, they announce they are fasting, and they announce the names of those who give to their so-called "Charitable" organization ... clearly against the first half of Matthew 6 ... and all of their "X is going to Hell" is against Mathew 19:17-21 (not to mention "Thou shalt not judge"). Go ahead, read them ... a real eye-opener.

I will NOT apologize for my ancestress giving her children some intellect and wisdom (you know, the apple?) If you are so worried about original sin, then hit your head with a hammer a few times ... that will take care of it. Not to mention that I have read the "original" words as they were once written ... not a single word against Witches (the original word was "she who murders using poison"). Enoch (Dead Sea Scrolls) tells us that herbology, medicine, weather/date forcasting, and magick were gifts from the angels ... it was only the gift of swords and what we did with those swords that made God angry enough to send the great flood (which, by the way, affected only the Mediterranean area ... not the whole world). And yes, early Church leaders changed the sex of the "beloved disciple" to hide the fact that SHE was his wife, Mary Magdalene (who, by the way, was NOT the same person as the sinful woman).

The Bible had been clearly edited and written the way the that the Roman Government felt would create a Patriarchal World Empire. I can't blame a lot of Christians, I guess. After all, they are only following the same misinformation that the Roman Emperors insisted upon handing out.
