I was catholic, rarely went to church. I have had 1st communion and been confirmed.

Reason for DeConverting

I found many contradictions. I just didn't believe. Someone said "god has a plan".

Story

I just was thinking on the bus one day, "if God is all powerful, and God has to follow church law, doesn't that mean God isn't infallible and all existence should have ended?" And I was watching the church channel and I realised something very interesting about the passover - why would God have killed all the firstborns? That makes no sense to me because the firstborns in most cases hadn't done anything, and why should they die for their father's sins? Another thing that I realized is how many things were borrowed from paganism, ie: christmas is from saturnalia (roman holiday dec 17-jan 1 or something like that).
