I was forced to attend Sunday School and Church from toddlerhood until I was about 13 years old, then I refused to attend.
My grandparents lived next door and we went to church because grandma expected it. I detested every second of it. I remember a brief time when I actually believed some of it- but the feeling didn't last long. Christianity did not feel right. The stories seemed so utterly ridiculous. It was like being expected to believe in fairy tales. That really pissed me off.
I went thru a time when I didn't believe in anything and now I have spiritual beliefs that do not relate to any religion. I am happy, well-balanced and live a wonderful life with no religion.
