Took the time to read the Bible for myself CRITICALLY. Saw that the God in it wanted a blood sacrifice before he could forgive people. It suddenly dawned on me that this was no different to dead Aztec or Incan religions.
A-theist (free from god belief) Contrary to dictionary definitions: I'm denying nothing!
I don't have that much to say really.
I was in the AOG for three years before being booted out as a trouble causer. I never really agreed with the rapture teaching... even as a fundy.
Next I got into one of those "live in each others pockets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week" communities for TEN YEARS!! They kept me so busy "saving the world" that it was a rare time indeed when I got to read the Bible. When I finally did get to read the Bible I saw that it was full of contradictions and lies. Jesus isn't coming back, there is no future trib just around the corner. The Bible makes that pretty clear as it was supposed to all happen before the guys Jesus supposedly said it to died.
