My family were nominally Protestant, having me christened into URC and then CofE. I went to a very religious Methodist school, and became preoccupied with religion, before going to university at 19 to pursue Religious Studies, intending to pursue a career in the church. Studying religion critically opened my eyes to its fallacies and failings, and I realized in time that, to my mind, there is no God. BUT there is life, life in all its fulness, to borrow from Jesus, who I still have a lot of respect for, although I no longer believe he was God or risen from the dead.

Peace and goodwill to you all.

Interesting site you have here. Maybe I'll start one of my own.
