I think religion is a great thing for people who can not think or behave on their own.

We need religion in our society to control those who can not control themselves. Many of my rehab drug addicted friends that love their religion are great examples for this.

As I drifted from religion my life started to have so much more meaning. I can now see 2 sides to an argument and respect it. I worship my wife and time on earth now.

Why I left is simple, I read the bible on my own with a highlighter (low lighter).

I woke up and said I do not believe in talking snakes and the method of our existence.

Reading peoples de-conversion stories was also a big help in breaking the chains of christianity.
