Why I Joined

because my grandmother forced me to go to sunday school, xtain camp, & confirmation.

Why I Left

Because there is one very large reason I am not Xtian, I do NOT beleive in the Trinity. One person can not be 3 people at once, even if he is G-d. Jesus is not the Messiah nor the son of G-d, just some random dude.

Story

Ever since I was young, my very devoted Grandmother would take my brother and I to her Xtian church for sunday school. The only reason I went was because we would get Taco Bell afterwards. :)

I hated going, but played along. Ended up going to a Xtian church summer camp 2 years in a row, and getting confirmed by being held under nasty water. After my Grandmother could not take us anymore I stopped going.

Until I met my now husband, a devout Catholic. So to appeal to him spiritualy I went back to a Xtian church, and joined. Well that lasted about 3 months before I realized that I wanted to vomit after every service.

So I quit going, explored why I wanted to vomit, then explored religions and thus forth I became a Jew by Choice. Something my inlaws would like to kill me for. But as stated above in my answers, G-d just cant be his own father & son & ghost, it's not possible even for G-d. & the main thing is that Jesus is just some dude.

He is nothing special. He did nothing special. The Messiah is yet to come.
