Married a non-Jewish woman... They convinced me that it would
be good to investigate combining my Jewish heritage with her
Christian background. After the initial contacts with missionaries,
it seemed clear that the "Old Testament" prophecies
really did point to Jesus as the messiah. |

I was actually studying to become a "Messianic Rabbi".
In their "yeshiva" classes, they stressed that messianic
leaders should be well versed in the "other streams"
of Judaism. They wanted us to be able to communicate with educated
Jews. However, once I started reading some of the normative
Jewish books, I too became educated, and realized that belief
in Jesus was a sham. |
