<<prev I will not submit or kneel to their god. next>>

I was born into the Christian faith. I never felt at home in any of the churchs my folks dragged me to. I got sick of it all and rebelled at age 10. I went through a brief period of Greek paganism, but my family and church forced me out of it.

When i was fifteen we turned Lutheran and for a little while i was happy. Then i began to read their doctrine and realized they were worse than the baptists.

They damned my ancestors simply for not being Christian.

So i became Agnostic.

After doing that for a few years i gained a friend who is Egyptian pagan. Her husband is a follower of Norse paganism.

I did some research and found out that the gods of Asatru are just like humans. They don't demand that we enslave ourselves to them. They are lovers of freedom. So am I.

I converted after a few days of deep thought and more research that proved to me that i was going down the right path. I had a dream from the Norse God Odin. He guided me through my doubt and fear. He is the solver of puzzles and pardoxes after all.

I've followed the gods ever since.
