I had joined a forum that had a lot of atheist. On occasion a religious discussion would pop up and they would try and reason with people why christianity is a joke. Since I didn't have much biblical knowledge to battle them I decided to read some of the bible instead of just listening to my clergy approved sermon everyday. I got quite bored of the bible and wondered about why the gospels are different if they are the inspired word of god. then I decided to look at other religions. I took a look at Islam and thought it doesn't have that confusing trinity crap and start to get a little more serious about it. Then I went to an Islamic site and read some of the ruleslike have to have a beard, have to shave your private parts, masturbation is an evil sin(which back then wasn't as bad since they got married at what around 11) and realized that it sucked.
