Extras Wanted for Tues 14 Oct We are looking urgently for female extras in their late teens to adulthood. We are shooting on Tuesday the 14th October in Brisbane during the day, for a new web series called 'Black Widow Mike'. Filmmakers looking for Talent for 48-hr Project A group of film grads are looking for actors who would be interested in acting in our entry for Brisbane's 48 Hour Film Project. The competition involves writing, shooting and editing a short film in 48 hours. We are keen to hear from anyone - any age, gender, look, experience. You just have to be available on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of October. Actors Required for Student Film I am making a film, and i need extra's and my two leading roles filled! If you have an interest in acting or in the alternative theme come on down and audition!!  It wont be a paid thing or anything like that it is just a small student project. I am looking mostly for alternative looking people so anything goth,metal,punk or new wave would be super even if your not come try your luck if i like you i just may use anybody. There is no script involved just a lot of you being on film if you get one of the parts. You will need to be outgoing and willing to do some things you may normally be shy doing and no there is no nudity. It is a brisbane only based audition. Actors Required for Student Film Looking for Actors for a mocumentary short film about Cannabis Prevention to enter into a National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC) Short Film Competition 2008. This is a Student Film by Queensland School of Film and Television (QSFT) student. Unpaid work, but we have a very talented crew and a great script. The filming is scheduled for Thursday 9 October 2008. CASTING will be held on   * TUESDAY, 29 September 2008, 10-1 pm (main day)   * THURSDAY, 2 October 2008, 5.30-8.30 pm at Queensland School of Film and Television, 7/38 Tennyson Memorial Avenue Yeerongpilly QLD   The character we are looking for :   * Claire - Females, aged 20 to 22 The start of using cannabis causes the breakdown of her close relationship with her sister, Rachel. This character is interviewed about her life's experience with the drug.   * Rachel - Females, aged 18 to 21 Rachel is Claire's younger sister. This character is interviewed about how her sister's drug habbit has affected their relationship.   * Eric - Males, aged 18 to 20 He lost his best friend in a car accident after his friend used the drug. This character is interviewed about his friend and how drugs affect not only the user but also people around them.   * Trysh - Females, aged 17 to 19 She was a drug addict because she had a social problem. This character is interviewed about her life's experience and her fight agains drugs.   * Kevin - Males, aged 17 to 19 He was a drug addict and had trouble with the law. This character is a rebelious teenager. Male Actors Required for Bond Uni Grad Film (Unpaid) Bond University graduation film needs male actors, in their 50's, 60's, and 30's We are looking for older male actors for our graduation film to be shot in 4 - 5 weeks. It is a 10 minute action film set in a cathedral and a grave yard. We will be holding auditions later this week. Here are Some character descriptions:   * Bishop Vincenzo Storatto A 58 year old servitude of the church, his face is wearied with the marks of age and a balding flock of white hair to match. He is a faithful friend of the Deodato family and acts as their religious and legitimate front. He is a corrupt man very high up in the church system. He is an important religious figure, very influential, who hides his corrupt nature behind the sanctity of his religion. He uses the catholic cross as a shield from which he hides his immoral and unethical acts. He is arrogant, self-righteous, and egotistical.   * David 'Bernie' Bernstein Late 30's to early 40's he is a short weedy, balding man with a hawk-beak nose. He looks out of place among the gangsters he surrounds himself with. He is also a long-standing friend and associate of the Deodato family. He is a Jewish man, who uses his Star of David as a shield to hide his corrupt nature. He is a cocaine addict who hides his drugs in his Star of David pendant. He is no gangster but likes to pretend he is. He is not tough but surrounds himself with gangsters to make himself tough.   * Don Dante Deodato Late 50's, early 60's. A first generation Sicilian who moved to America and worked his way to the status of Don. He is a catholic man who hides his corrupt dealings behind the sanctity of his religion. He is frail, and struggles to walk and talk; his old age is taking him and he is slowly dying. He is an elderly man with a friendly appearance but with a sinister mean streak. His clothes are perfectly pressed and fitted. He values the old fashioned values. He expects respect from everyone.
