I'm a writer. That means I get to spend my life doing what parents, teachers and bosses spent years attempting to stop me doing - dreaming. This world is a magic place and I see my job as bringing a healthy helping of that magic to you, my reader. My writing crosses and blurs genres but most of my work falls within the realm of Crime, Thrillers and Horror - both for adults and children. There I can explore things we can't explain, things we don't want to explain and our inability to handle them.

Life as a single parent can be fun, frustrating and daunting. But I have two lovely children to keep me sane ... when they aren't pushing me to the brink. I spend my days caring for them, comforting the Shadow Cat (a Siamese of high personal opinion), tending to Skipper the dog, riding pushbikes, building boats
oh . . . and writing.
