A New Australian Flag
CREATING A STATE FLAGS SYSTEM
The flags of the States of Australia are of an identical format. This is the British Blue Ensign defaced with the state badge on the fly of the flag.
With my flag design, a different flag system can be created, but this time based on an Australian Flag, rather than the British Ensign. The design is based on replacing the Federation Star in my Australian Flag design with the State Badge. So the state flags will immediately be identified with Australia. Further, with the badge in the canton, the flag will still be identifiable when there is little wind , unlike with the present flags.
